Through a combination of SMART Technologies' Notebook and SMART Board, I can model proper blueprint reading strategies for my students in real time using updated graphics and attention-grabbing colours that symbolize different types of information. Students in my classes have claimed that the SMART Board is more dynamic and engaging than performing similar exercises using overhead projectors and transparencies.
Snipping Tool and Screencast-O-Matic
Using Window's based video and screen shot software, I am able to design comprehensive FOL demonstrations when using CAD/CAM Software such as Solid Works and MasterCAM. These educational tools serve to supplement my students' learning when they are away from the classroom.
